In Nov. 2013, Typhoon Haiyan (locally known as Yolanda), hit the Philippines. Being my country of birth and having a lot of family still living there, it hit very close to home. In Dec. 2013, I joined All Hands Volunteers in the post-typhoon relief effort. Based in Ormoc City from Dec '13 - Feb '14, these are photos from my time with this amazing volunteer group, the people we worked with and the community we worked in. It changed my life.
